About Me
I didn't start my career with a plan. I started it with a job.
I began working at 12, entered the corporate world in a mailroom at a large insurance company, moved into claims, then software testing. I worked nights managing a rough bar while going to school for IT during the day. Eventually I moved into R&D and leadership roles at HBO & Company, McKesson, Qwest, and later back to McKesson. I consulted for small and mid-size businesses, and today I work in product leadership at Cox Automotive and run an AI company called Synthetic Push.
Across all of those roles, companies, and industries, I learned one core belief:
Leadership is not a position. Leadership is a behavior.
You can lead from the mailroom. You can lead as an individual contributor. You can lead as a manager. You can lead from anywhere if you take ownership, help people grow, and try to make things better than you found them.
That's what this site is about. Leadership, coaching, growth, and building better teams and better careers.
